During the week I pick The Mayor and The Rooster up from daycare and we go to the commuter rail station to pick up K.
Then we go home and let the chaos of the 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. mayhem overtake our family.
The other night I was busy assembling a curried cauliflower thing while K fixed dinner for the kids.
The Rooster was "helping" K and they were talking.
"What did you do at school today, Rooster?" he asked her.
"Um," she said.
"Did you swing?"
"Yeah!"
"Did you slide?"
"Yeah!"
"Did you play with your friends?"
"Yeah!"
"What was your favorite thing that you did today, Rooster?"
"See Daddy!"
Smart girl.
She is well on her way to wrapping him solidly around her little finger forever.
Oh, we wimmins and our wiley ways...

what a beautiful daughter! You're teaching her well, hee hee.
Adorable, both inside and out =)
cutest rooster i've ever seen... ;)
I am happy with both my boys. If I had a girl, I would totally wrapped arounf her finger. DraMa even knows it. Phew, dodged that bullet. I think Rooster should meet Budski.
She is adorable!
If my little prince ever says anything like that to Daddy, he would be wrapped around his finger instantly - we are currently in the "I want nothing to do with Daddy" phase.
That is soooo cute. She's adorable.
Oh yeah, little girls have a way of doing that with their daddies. With those pretty little eyes, how could your hubby ever say no?
She's adorable... and oh so smart.
Squee! She is so adorable!
WOW I am so stunned by her gorgeous adorableness that I can think of nothing else to say. You could use her as a "happy stun gun"!
She bears a striking resemblance to someone...hmmm, sure wish I could remember her name....
CUTIE - PIE!!!!
Gorgeous and smart. Awesome!
she is absolutely stunning!
Smart answer there, Rooster.
Those eyes...man, they're stunning.
somehow I suspect he already was wrapped around her little finger before she said that...
Who couldn't fall in love with those eyes?? As will say the crowd of boys lined up outside your front door when she is 16...
My goodness that child is gorgeous.
What an amazingly gorgeous girl! Love those eyes!
love the pink cheeks!
Well I can't imagine why a face like that would melt his heart. He must be a complete and total marshmallow.
"Curried cauliflower thing"??? Oh my. Can I eat with the kids??
Adorably cute pic of an even adorably cuter doll!
Oh my heavens, that girl is scrumptious. Truly truly scrumptious.
The cuteness! It's overwhelming!
She's definitely a girl. ;)
Couldn't you just look at this picture *all day*?
I am a brand new reader (I found you about a week ago) and I haven't had time to play in your archives, so this is the first time I have seen a pic of The Rooster...OMG, she is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Oh my, look at that sweet face!!! Great little eyes she's got.
I love cauliflower. I have an awesome baked cheese and cauliflower recipe..You bake the whole damn thing with this cheese mixture and it is gooey and yummy and fatty.
Oh she is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Happy WW. Like your blog.

Oh my goodness Rooster Ma'am. You are a thing of beauty...
Next lesson: Shakin' that thang.
She's sooo cute.
She is soooo cute. :-)
So cute!
Little girls and their Daddies.....
She is SO big!
And adorable!
Smart indeed, but also a sweet daughter who loves her dad that much!
P.S. She looks so much like you! Beautiful!
Too cute!
My almost 3 year old told my bald husband that his head is a beautiful rock!
At least she didn't say it was filled with them!
Little girls are born with their daddy's tightly wrapped around their finger. I love it that way. She is GORGEOUS!
SO cute! :)
Oh, she's gorgeous! And sweet too.
So cute!
How could he not be wrapped around her finger? She's adorable!
I'm just gasping at that gorgeous little face.
Of course she had daddy wrapped around her finger. The most natural thing in the world. I remember being in love with my daddy.
Yer warming the cockles of my heart, here.
What is not to love about that face?
Last night our very own Miss L, while sitting at the table with her father, is acting like she is writing something on a piece of paper, all the while saying in her four year old voice, not "I love daddy", but "I love (insert his full name here)." It was heart warming.
He of course, bubbled over with happiness. Those little girls, they just do something to you.....
Stop looking at me with those eyes, stop it I say! Those melty little baby eyes...STOP IT!!!
Oh the cuteness....
Such a cutie! I love her little chubby cheeks. :)
She is you and you is she. You look so alike. She is a DOLL! Oh, I wish we could do playdates.
Beautiful picture. And a very smart girl..
If Rooster ever loses her touch, Girlie can offer her free brush-up lessons. Not that Rooster can't get everything she wants just by looking so darn cute.
Little girls.... they know exactly how to make Daddy's heart melt.
Awww, how can you blame him. She's so sweeeeet.
Dangit, Ali, you took my comment word for word! Oh well...it's worth repeating--That's the cutest rooster I've ever seen!
What a cutie-pie! It's good that you're writing this stuff down. He's going to need these memories in about 11-13 years.
Ouch. My ovaries hurt. My lord she's cute.
Sooooooooooooooooooo sweet!!
Gosh, she's looking like you!
And my favorite part of the day is seeing Daddy, too :-)
i need to get lessons from her obviously...but look at her eyes...she's so CUTE!
Pretty damned hot reciprocal exchange there! Could she come and give my boys some remedial treatment?
Cheers
Mom's all grunt work...Daddy all the sweetiest stuff.
She is lovely.
God, she's cute...
what an angel girl
Aww what a doll!
I think my ovaries just burst.
I love the way her expression is just saying "What??!" in such a 'wiley' way!
we call that time (5-7pm)
ARSENIC HOUR at our house.
That is a Baby Gap model!!!
She is adorable. :)
Regarding being wrapped around their little fingers, when I get home from work, Peanut will run up to me and give me a big hug. I'm going to assume she's doing it with alterior motives in mind.
What a super cute little girl!!
Oh the power of the wimmins . . .
Katie has the same affect on her Daddy.
Carrie
Oh, she is just gorgeous! Makes me miss the little-ness of my girls. *sniff*
My son knows how to do that, too. It is a gift. :)
Oh, that face is priceless. Woe is the man who falls under her spell! You've taught her well!
God is she ever gorgeous. Wowee kazowee.
(And a smart little chickadee too.)
