Today is another one of those days where I pass out awards all willy nilly.
Why?
BECAUSE I CAN!! (I love that!)
Do not be intimidated by my ginormous powers of nomination!
Fear not, for I bring bloggy bling to the people and the people are glad.
(Shut UP already woman, mmmmkay?!)
Mmmkay. So.
Today is the day the May ROFL (Again, that's Rolling On The Floor Laughing, Granny) Awards are announced and I nominated I am BOSSY for this post and now I get all my political updates from BOSSY. (I can't stop calling him Barack O'Boyfriend either.)
Have I expressed my love for I am BOSSY? She comes from the Planet Pennsylvania and I LOVE her. She can explain anything. Like changes in the postal system or sexual chemistry or those ugly yet energy efficient light bulbs (that K insists we use.)
Today is ALSO the day the May Perfect Posts are announced, so this is a twoferthepriceofone AWARDZ POST OF A LIFETIME!
You might remember that awhile back I had the great, good fortune to meet (live and in person) Jen (or jen) from one plus two.
I loved the way she celebrated all the mothers everywhere over mother's day weekend, so I nominated her post called, "Bearing Witness" for a Perfect Post Award.
Because of my love for both jen and BOSSY AND the fact by I am overcome by a feeling of intense generosity perhaps caused by a perverse and weird case of PMS, BOSSY and jen are also entitled to the much coveted, highly prestigious and utterly meaningless AWARD OF JOY!
The moment they have been waiting for all their lives is here!
But wait, there are three nice leetle surprises biscuits for ME!
Fencile nominated the post where I blogged in the time of Jeebus H. Christmas for an ROFL Award! Wow!
That awesome Fenicle! (It's French for Nicole!)
[But don't be as stupid as me and assume that her name is Nicole because you will be wrong. Also like me.]
That very same post inspired Domestic Chicky to create a Blogger's Choice Award category just for me.
I am the ONLY nominee. I win this one. Ha!
Finally, Moobs is having a tenuous celebrity connection comptetion at his blog and I am nominated because Michael Stipe was my midnight pedicurist.
But, but... that is a total lie.
My pedicure was given by that other R.E.M. guy - the one with the big, googly glasses - and it was more like three in the morning.
There were a lot of people and many (many, many, many) drinks.
In the morning my entire big toe was painted red.
[So for the record, that member of R.E.M. is really a crap pedicurist and I would NOT recommend him at all.]
What I WILL do is thank my lovely nominators - Moobs, Domestic Chicky and Fencile (who is NOT named Nicole) - by awarding each of them the much coveted, highly prestigious and utterly meaningless AWARD OF JOY!

I agree. Bossy is a funny, funny woman and I must say very fetching in the turquoise and orange - not a color combination everyone can pull off – but, Bossy does it with flair.
