My DNA Hard At Work

Occasionally my children do things that reassure me and fill me with pride.

They do things that let me know I made the right choice in procreating in the first place and that I am on the right path with the whole parenting thing.

Sometimes they make me feel like the world will be a better place because my DNA will carry on after I am gone.

Today was such a day.

The Mayor said,

"Mom, do you want to know how chickens snore?"

"Why, yes. Yes I do."
And then he showed me.

Wow. I never knew chickens snore! LOL OH and by the way. LEST you get too comfy- It's all going to hell in a handbasket when they become teens. Mark my words. Hell. Handbasket. Yeah.

ROFLMAO!! I thought he was going to pass out there for a second gasping for breath..those poor chickens and their respirator systems. Sounds like someone needs a sleep apnea test.

He's just ridiculously adorable.

That is priceless. Absolutely. And they do it with their eyes squinched shut too.
How did you get him to do it for the camera, hmm?

I'm just amazed you had the good fortune to have the camera on at that moment. Your motherly-prophetic-giftings are still fully intact. Or are there so many moments like these that the camera is always on?!

How adorable. Did he come up with this by himself. If he did, he is certainly a genius.

If that's what the Mayor does, what the hell does the Rooster do?

I held my breath the whole time. I am light headed. And charmed.

That chicken would benefit from a CPAP machine for sleep apnea.
