Light Bulb

At The Mayor's parent-teacher conference tonight, his teacher told us about a recent assignment.

"I asked the children in the class what they would do if they were president," she said."
"One child told me that if he were President he would wear a hat. Another said he would buy everyone light bulbs."
[What do we want? LIGHT BULBS! When do we want them? NOW!]
"Do you know what The Mayor said?" she asked.
We couldn't even begin to guess.
"The Mayor said that if he were President, he would try to find the right answers."

I wish I were American so that when the day comes I could vote him for President :-)

Somehow, I don't think he'll need to be President for that.

For that answer alone, I'd like to nominate The Mayor for presidency (or Prime Ministricy, if Mum will come North!)

I think he deserves a cookie for that one!

That is so incredibly awesome... screw the cookie, he'd get a whole hot fudge sundae for dinner from me.

Bossy is putting him on the ballot in her state. Residency issues can be determined later (Bossy has an empty boys' room, as it so happens...)

The Mayor could teach us all a thing or two. I'm proud of him, and he's not even my child. :)

That was a very good answer, since none of the last several presidents have had the right answers to any of the questions. Good boy!

A perfect score! That was a really good answer! A wise one at that too. As President, one would have access to lots of answers, it's in finding the right one, and sticking to that, now that's what makes a great President :)
